On June 30th, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, lying in the Lingdingyang Bay like a giant dragon, officially opened to traffic. Vehicles lined up at the East Exit of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link in Cuiheng, Zhongshan, eager to experience the world-class cross-sea cluster project that integrates a bridge, island, tunnel, and underwater interchange. This marks the first direct expressway connecting Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou Metropolitan Areas and Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Metropolitan Areas on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary, making the "one-hour transportation circle" in the Greater Bay Area a reality.

Built with the participation of CCCC, the 24-kilometer Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is designed for speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour, reducing travel time between Shenzhen and Zhongshan to just 30 minutes. This project injects new vitality into the economic development of the Greater Bay Area. Zhongshan resident Li Jian expressed his excitement, saying, "Previously, crossing the river required a detour, and traffic jams were a common occurrence. Now, we no longer have to take the long way around."
