Recently, Afristar visited nearly 700 households affected by floods in a village along the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), donating 2,700 items of basic supplies including rice, flour, oil, and sugar.

Kenya has been hit by heavy rains and flooding due to the El Niño phenomenon. The village, located near the Nairobi River, saw about 2,000 residents affected by the disaster.
